It is interesting to know that deaf competition has been going on in the world for close to 2 decades now without Nigeria Participation, a development that can no longer be tolerated.

OUR LITTLE BEGINING

The historic maiden edition of Miss Deaf Nigeria is yet to take place due to lack of sponsors. The caliber of corporate sponsorship involve in the organization of world and international Deaf Pageant show the level of serious and recognition attached to the course. The same is expected of us in Africa as we prove to the world that less privileged are not neglected in Nigeria. Being the first ever Miss & Mr Deaf Nigeria pageant, we believe only a pacesetter with deep passion for humanity can pioneer this cause, someone/an organisation with reputation of promoting equality and one who has concerns for the disabled and less privileged in the society.

MISSION STATEMENT

Most beautiful deaf girl in Nigeria [organizers of Miss & Mr Deaf Nigeria]is an organization geared towards empowering, enhancing and supporting today’s ever changing and ever growing community of deaf men and women. As an organization committed to excellence, we are honored to provide a platform for our contestants to demonstrate not only their unique talents, intellect and beauty, but their overall personal and humanitarian goals. The esteemed winner of this competition will be vied as an ambassador of the deaf community in Nigeria and African as a whole

ABOUT MISS & MR DEAF NIGERIA

With the number of different pageant in our society today, one begins to wonder why a young beautiful and intelligent deaf cannot participate in any of this pageant no matter how qualified. Miss Deaf Nigeria is not just another pageant, it a call to service to humanity and support for the rejected. MMDN is a non for profit organization which involves deaf men and women who have being stigmatized by the society. It is on record however that among these deaf women abound abundant talents that are yet to be tapped and if well harnessed will bring glory to Nigeria. It is on this note that we have decided to take the bull by the horn and bring hope to the hitherto hopeless and glamour and shine so the Nigeria and African Deaf can have a sense of belonging.
